At the beginning of 2025, we were approached by a client – a representative of a Ukrainian online consumer electronics store, who was looking for a fast and reliable way to deliver a batch of goods from China. The entrepreneur planned to import popular smart gadgets – wireless headphones, chargers and compact projectors, which were actively promoted on Ukrainian marketplaces. The main condition was urgency: to deliver the cargo from Guangdong province to Lviv in the shortest possible time – up to 14 days.
Tasks:
- Ensure fast and safe delivery of a batch of electronics (400 kg, over 1000 units of goods)
- Avoid delays at the border and with customs clearance
- Prepare a full set of documents for legal import
- Provide tracking at all stages of delivery
Solution:
The IMPORT.UA team analyzed the type of goods, category, volume and route. The most optimal option was air delivery with consolidation in Hong Kong and further transit through Poland. This saved time on sea transportation and accelerated processing in European logistics hubs.
At the same time, we took on the preparation of all documents: invoices, packing lists, certificates of conformity, as well as preliminary customs valuation. Thanks to our well-established work with brokers and agents in Ukraine, the customs clearance process took less than 24 hours.
The entire cargo was shipped from China on March 4, and on March 18, the client received the delivery to his warehouse in Lviv. The transit time was 14 days “turnkey”, without losing a single unit of goods, with full reporting on each stage of the route.
Result:
- The client managed to launch sales on the marketplace as part of the planned promotion
- Almost 10 days were saved compared to standard sea delivery
- After this case, the client transferred most of the imports to IMPORT.UA on an ongoing basis
